Re: Where there's a will...
@mpouraryan:

I am with you 100%, if there is no dream there is nothing that one can pursue. Setting high goals is always a very good thing. We really made progress when you think about all these smart able technology features. and am sure to witness more progress in that area but ofcourse there are many challenges to be dealt with along the way.

@mpouraryan:

Absultely, we should keep that hope always. Otherwise there is not much that will keep us moving.

But certainly watching all the happenings, all i can say is we have intersting times to look out for. We just need to stay tuned at this point of time.

Re: Where there's a will...
I would hold out hope that the appointments of Wilbur Russ and Todd Rickets may signal a more "pro-business" effort--but again we will have to see.   It will certainly be interesting no doubt--the question is whether the US will continue to lead or be left behind.

Re: Where there's a will...
There is nothing wrong about wishing for the stars and pursuing ones' dreams--if we did not do that, we won't talk about "smart streets", "smart cities" & "smart homes".   We are limited by the power of our own imagination.

Re: predictions
As we embrace December and look to a new year, I continue to be hopeful, but cautious as we see the new Administration in the United States taking shape.    Some of the potential appointments is not frankly hopeful--for instance Linda McMahon for the Small Business Adminstration.

Just seeing pictures of how much grey hair Obama has developed since becoming president is enough of a stress indicator for me!

In an industry where production yield and efficiency are tantamount to success, quickly identifying and correcting defects in the manufacturing process is critical. The customers of Optimal+ operate in production environments where errors related to yield and efficiency measurements can lead to losses of millions of dollars per year within a single plant. By implementing Vertica, Optimal+ is able to speed up analytical insights, combine data from different productions processes and gain visibility across the whole supply chain – leading to improved yield, quality and productivity for semiconductor and electronics manufacturers.

Join Alon Malki, Chief Architect at Optimal+, and Jeff Healey, Director of Product Marketing at HPE Vertica, to hear how advanced analytics and manufacturing intelligence can drive success in Industrial IoT. On this webinar you’ll learn:

  • Why HPE Vertica Analytics Platform is purpose built for IoT data
  • The challenges Optimal+ faced when developing a solution for IoT analytics
  • How Optimal+ leverages HPE Vertica to create an ideal big data architecture
